Mirjana – Do Not Be Afraid of the Future

Annual Message to Mirjana, one of the Medjugorje Visionaries on March 18, 2026:

Dear children, never forget how great is the love of God. Through that love I am with you. Do not forget how great is His mercy. Through that mercy I am showing you the way to true happiness and perfect peace. That is the way to my Son. Therefore, my children, with complete trust, abandon yourselves to my Son and do not be afraid. Do not be afraid of the future because it belongs entirely to the will of my Son.* Therefore, my children, renounce everything that distances you from my Son: false happiness, false hope, false splendor. Trust my Son. Tell Him about your pains, sufferings, desires and hopes. You will feel His love and His blessing. Thank you! (With ecclesiastical approval)

*In our Timeline, we see how the “seals” of the Book of Revelation are unfolding in real-time as the daily news reveals a world increasingly losing its way.

Now, we can view the ensuing “chaos” as God’s wrath… or as His mercy allowing man to reap what he has sown, precisely to move his heart to return to God (think the “prodigal son”).[1]cf. Heb 12:5-13, Luke 15:11-32  Another image that Our Lord invokes describes these events of the seals as “labor pains,”[2]cf. Matt 24:7-8 which implies not doom and gloom but a rebirth.[3]cf. Rev 12:1-2, John 16:21 Indeed, the Early Church Fathers and popes alike have foretold of a “triumph” of Christ in His Church, not the end of the world.[4]cf. Dear Holy Father… He is Coming! and The Middle Coming

Thus, we see how Our Lady’s recent message to Mirjana that “the future… belongs entirely to the will of my Son” is echoed in the First Seal:

Then I watched while the Lamb broke open the first of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures cry out in a voice like thunder, “Come forward.” | looked, and there was a white horse, and its rider had a bow. He was given a crown, and he rode forth victorious to further his victories. (Rev 6:1-2)

This Rider, according to voices in Sacred Tradition, is the Lord Himself:

He is Jesus Christ. The inspired evangelist [St. John] not only saw the devastation brought about by sin, war, hunger and death; he also saw, in the first place, the victory of Christ. —POPE PIUS XII, Address, November 15, 1946; footnote of The Navarre Bible, “Revelation”, p.70

In the Haydock Catholic Bible Commentary (1859), following the Douay-Rheims Latin-English translation, it says:

A white horse, such as conquerors used to ride upon at a solemn triumph. This is commonly understood as our Saviour, Christ, who, by himself and by his apostles, preachers, martyrs, and other saints, triumphed over all the adversaries of His Church. He had a bow in his hand, the doctrine of the gospel, piercing like an arrow the hearts of the hearers; and the crown given him, was a token of the victory of him who went forth conquering, that he might conquer… The other horses that follow represent the judgments and punishment, that were to fall on the enemies of Christ and his Church…

Read “The First Seal” for a further development of how it fits the “time of mercy” announced by Jesus to St. Faustina…
