Dear children, I am your Mother and I love you. Listen carefully to what I tell you. The black bird will land on the House of God with great fury. Vengeance will come and the pain will be great for my poor children. Pray. Only through the strength of prayer can you bear the weight of the cross that is yet to come. Open your hearts and turn away from everything that separates you from my Son Jesus. You are important for the fulfillment of my plans. Give your best and you will be generously rewarded by the Lord. Take care of your spiritual life. Do not leave what you have to do until tomorrow. Seek strength in prayer and in the Eucharist. Do not forget: your victory will come from the Lord. Onward without fear! At this moment, I am making an extraordinary shower of graces fall upon you from Heaven. Courage. My Jesus is with you. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed me to gather you here once more. What is the Black Bird?
In the messages to Pedro Regis allegedly from Our Lady, she does not specifically state what the “black bird” is. However, previous messages and current affairs perhaps suggest that it is Islam, or more specifically, Islamic jihad and Hijrah. As writer Y.K. Cherson points out in a scholarly article, Immigration was considered by Muhammad to be a fundamental means by which to spread Islam, particularly when force cannot be initially used.
…the concept of Hijrah—Immigration—as a means of supplanting the native population and reaching the position of power became a well-developed doctrine in Islam… The main principle for a Muslim community in a non-Muslim country is that it must be separate and distinct. Already in the Charter of Medina, Muhammad outlined the basic rule for Muslims who emigrate to non-Muslim land, i.e., they must form a separate body, keeping their own laws and making the host country comply with them. — “The Goal of Muslim Immigration According to Muhammad’s Teachings”, Oct. 2nd, 2014; chersonandmolschky.com
Consider these previous messages to Pedro:
Dear children, the black bird will pass through Europe and wherever it lands it will leave its mark of destruction and death. Violence will increase and people will bear a heavy cross. (August 10, 2006, Message 2718)
The black bird will act and cause consternation throughout the East. It will pass by the eagle’s nest and make its young suffer. (June 3, 2007, Message 2846)
The black bird will spread throughout the world and where it passes it will leave great destruction. (July 28, 2016, Message 4340)
The connotations of violence in Europe and the ‘East’ and hostility towards the offspring of the ‘eagle’ (the US, in the context of a message received in the years prior to the rise of Daech) may suggest Islamic radicals, who appear in many other of Pedro’s locutions, even when the “black bird” is not mentioned. Some of these are highly specific, e.g. message 2579 of September 24, 2005… yet to be fulfilled :
A wicked man will arise. The faithful will experience great suffering because of him. Sanaa is the capital of his country [i.e. Yemen]. Italy will be invaded. The men with great beards will act with great fury.
Former U.S. House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, lamented that attacks could happen on American soil with “sleeper cells” activated at some point.
We should wake up ourselves. We could have the same thing happen next week to us. We caught more people on the terrorist watchlist in February than we caught in the entire administration. We could have cells sitting inside of America right now… we’ve got a wide-open border. There is no violence, no war, no evil that we as Christians cannot face, if not thwart, through the power of prayer. The meditation on Christ’s life through the Rosary is what Our Lady frequently recommends:
