The Starvation of Gaza

I was hungry and you gave me no food,
I was thirsty and you gave me no drink…
(Matthew 25:42-43)

In Gaza, the ever more intense tears of mothers and fathers,
clutching the lifeless bodies of their children,
rise up to heaven.
—POPE LEO XIV, May 28, 2025, La Crox

But if any one has the world’s goods
and sees his brother in need,
yet closes his heart against him,
how does God’s love abide in him?
(1 John 3:17)

Only 3 hours away from the survivors of the war in Gaza is a warehouse full of food, medicine and other aid. Mark Mallett caught up with Jason Jones, who is trying to get trucks of food to the starving in Gaza, in what he is openly calling a “genocide.”
