Eduardo – Guard the Lily of Purity

Saint Joseph to Eduardo Ferreira on July 1, 2026:

Beloved children, young people of the Lord, on this day I come to you, carrying in my hands the lily of purity. This lily, children, is a precious gift that God wishes to plant in your hearts. Nurture it with care. Do not allow the world to destroy it. [1]Social media, in particular, has become a “near occasion of sin” for many. We need to make clear choices, denying our flesh, in order to protect our purity of heart. Nourish it with love, with good choices, with a life turned toward God, and you will see beautiful seeds sprout in your souls.

I ask you on this day to seek peace and to pray for peace — peace in your hearts, peace in your families, peace in the world. Beloved young people, the world offers you many paths, but not all lead to life. Many paths lead to sadness, to vices, to emptiness, and to the loss of the soul. I tell you as a father, do not let yourselves be deceived. God has a plan for each one of you — a plan of love, of light, and of purpose. But to discover it, it is necessary to return to God; it is necessary to pray; it is necessary to still your heart and listen to His voice.

Flee from sin. Turn away from the vices that imprison the soul and steal your freedom. You were created to be free in God, not to be slaves to the world. Seek prayer. In prayer you will find strength. In prayer you will find your direction. In prayer you will find true joy.

And do not walk alone. Children, turn to your families; talk with your parents; pray with them. A family that prays together remains steadfast and finds peace. That is why I ask you to pray the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In her, you will find consolation, protection, and the sure path that leads you to Jesus.

Look also to the examples of the young saints. Remember Carlo Acutis, who lived in your time and chose God above all else. Follow the example of Dominic Savio, [2]St Dominic Savio (1842-1857), student of St John Bosco: https://donboscowest.org/dominic-savio who sought holiness in joy. Draw inspiration from Aloysius Gonzaga, [3]St Aloysius Gonzaga (1568-1591): https://www.jesuits.global/saint-blessed/saint-aloysius-gonzaga/ who preserved his purity with love, and also from Gerard Majella, [4]St Gerard Majella (1726-1755), Redemptorist: https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=150 who lived in simplicity, trusting in God. They were young people just like you. They, too, had to make choices; they, too, faced challenges and chose God. You, too, can choose.

On this day, I pour out a special blessing upon you, recalling the grace granted in this shrine. Just as on that day, August 23, 2000 — I remain present — caring for you, guiding you, and interceding for you. Receive this grace, embrace this call, and do not be afraid to belong to God. I, Joseph, watch over you, protect you, and lead you. Remain in peace.

I am Joseph, the carpenter.
