Manuela – The Chastisements Are Beginning

Vision of Manuela Strack on April 7, 2026, after the Angelus:

I am praying when the image of the Holy Face of Manopello shines brightly with light.[1]see image here I see the face of Jesus with a crown of thorns made of light. The Lord looks at me and says:

Isaiah 13:17: Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, for whom silver is of no value and gold means nothing…

The Lord looks at me, and I see that, whatever may happen — even if a peace agreement were to be reached at the last minute between the U.S., Israel, and Iran — this would unfortunately only be a short-lived peace. If the world does not repent, the Middle East will become a major scene of a future chastisement. Unfortunately, the Middle East will not be at peace.

Also, through beholding the Lord, I have now come to realize why the Holy Archangel Michael appeared with the flaming sword at the beginning of this year [Jan 20, 2026 in Sievernich, Germany]. This apparition is connected to a prophecy from Fatima.[2]From the third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria-Fatima, on 13 July 1917, by Sr. Lucia: “…at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.” (The Message of Fatima, vatican.va) The chastisements are beginning and will be carried out with the flaming sword of the Holy Archangel Michael.[3]see Fatima, and the Great Shaking

Why, then, the many calls to prayer from Heaven, the plea for prayers for peace? Is this not futile? No, it is not. The aim is to prevent the worst from happening. The more people pray and turn back to God, the more we can mitigate these chastisements. This is also about the protection of our countries, about our own protection.

I did not know what or who the “Medes” were, and the Bible passage was also unfamiliar to me. The Medes were an ancient people of the Iranian highlands (in the northwest of today’s Iran) and, together with the Persians, they made up the Medo-Persian Empire. They were called an instrument of God that knew no mercy, in connection with the destruction of Babylon.*

Faced with everything that is to come, we are repeatedly called by Heaven to prayer, penance, and conversion. We are indeed experiencing the grace of prayer and the call from Heaven “not to fear,” but to live a life in the Holy Sacraments and to pray for our fellow human beings.

Footnote published on April 8, 2026, with the following personal suggestions from Manuela (for the reader’s discernment):

Dear friends,

I wrote this before a ceasefire was announced. This shows us that the King of Mercy has a plan for us. However, we need to prepare for times when crises may arise again and again. How can we prepare for this? By becoming relatively self-sufficient in terms of energy. Examples include fuel reserves on farms. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the regulations regarding this. Solar panels with electric cars powered by energy produced on-site. Wood-burning stoves that heat rooms. These are my suggestions.
